Class 4A: Bolles rallies for win over Washington
ORLANDO — Jacksonville Bolles scored 21 fourth-quarter points to rally from a 13-point deficit and shock Miami Booker T. Washington 33-25 in the Florida High School Athletic Association Class 4A championship game.
Booker T. Washington (12-2) led 25-12 after Treon Harris scored on a 5-yard run in the third quarter.
Bolles (13-1) battled back with a bruising ground game led by junior Tim Betros, who scored the go-ahead touchdown with under 4 minutes left in the game. Betros finished with 117 yards on 14 carries. Cody Boswell added the third touchdown in the quarter when he recovered a fumbled kick return in the end zone.
Harris led Booker T. Washington on a final drive to the Bolles 5 with 30 seconds remaining, but his fourth-down pass was tipped and incomplete. He had 172 passing yards and 72 rushing yards with three touchdowns.
Milton Revell and D.J. Stewart scored touchdowns for Bolles.
