District cross country meets set for Saturday
Bay County cross country teams will compete in district meets on Saturday. Arnold, Bay and Rutherford will run in the District 1-2A event at Simms Middle School in Pace starting at 10 a.m. Mosley will compete in District 1-3A also at Simms Middle School, but with an 8:30 a.m. start.
The top four teams and 13 individuals in districts with seven or more teams advance to the regional meet. The top three teams and 13 individuals in districts with six or fewer teams advance to regionals.
Wewahitchka, Blountstown and Altha advanced both boys and girls teams from the District 2-1A meet held on Wednesday. Graceville’s Hunter Potts advanced as an individual after winning the district title with a time of 17 minutes, 44.03 seconds.
Graceville’s Rebecca Delgado, Sneads’ Brooke Williams, Taylor Green and Gary Hanson and Port St. Joe’s Nicolas Dickinson also qualified for the regional.
