Track: Bay teams finish third in Forbes meet

TALLAHASSEE — Gabe Holguin and T.J. Lowder won individual titles in the boys, and Ashley Mosley in the girls as both Bay track and field teams placed third Saturday in the Jesse Forbes Invitational at Godby High School.

Holguin won the 1600 meters and Lowder the 400 meters for the Tornadoes, who compiled 79 points behind champion Godby (188) and runner-up Lincoln (124).

Mosley took the high jump for the Lady Tornadoes, who had 83 points behind champion Godby (166) and runner-up Maclay (96).

Rutherford was eighth in the girls meet as the 4x100 relay team of Lakia Snowden, Briana Davis, Kaliphria Pinkard and Jasmine Threatt finished second with a time of 55.10 seconds.

The Rutherford boys team were 10th, and led by Shawn Miles, who finished fourth in the triple jump (42-10 ¾) and fifth in the long jump (21-0).

Rutherford will host the Ram Relays on Saturday at Tommy Oliver Stadium.
