Bozeman 64, Wewahitchka 58
WEWAHITCHKA — Matt Granville and Christian Flowers each scored 13 points to lead four Bozeman players in double figures. Herbie Harrell and Ben Adams added 12 points apiece for the Bucks (13-9), who host Wewa on Friday.
Rutherford 56, Port St. Joe 40
PORT ST. JOE — Port St. Joe trailed by only one point at halftime, but Rutherford pulled away in the final two quarters. Jon Wade scored a game-high 19 points, Kiki Williamson added 16 and Khlali Spearman 11 for the Rams (16-4), who are at Bay on Friday.
Jarkeice Davis scored 14 points and Alex King and Natrone Lee each 13 for the Tiger Sharks (7-13), who host West Gadsden on Friday.
Port St. Joe will host the Coaches vs. Cancer Game against West Gadsden, with coaches donning sneakers with their suits to promote cancer awareness.
Bay 51, Arnold 29
PANAMA CITY — Corey Brown scored 16 points and hasd six blocks for Bay in the winning effort. Darreyen Sims scored 11 points and had seven assists for the Tornadoes (6-13, 2-5 District 1-5A), who host Mosley today.
Bay won the JV game 77-41. Damien Curry scored 26 points and Markeis Goodman and Rayshon Patterson each 14 for Bay’s JV.
Chipley 75, Freeport 57
FREEPORT — Cameron Dozier scored 18 points, Alex Hamilton 15, Tyrome Sharpe 12 and Ryan McIntyre 10 for the Tigers (16-3), who are at Bratt Northview on Thursday. Chipley won the JV game 42-31.
Mosley 63, Niceville 61
LYNN HAVEN — Kurt Barger’s shot at the buzzer elevated Mosley to a District 2-6A win. The Dolphins had nine players score, but Barger was high with 12 points. Eight of them came in the fourth quarter. Brandon Jackson had nine points and Josh Turner and Beau Ruppel each had eight.
Mosley played its best half of the season in taking a 35-23 lead at intermission. The Dolphins’ turnovers helped Niceville claw back into the game. Mosley shot 13-16 at the free-throw line to maintain its edge.
The Eagles were led by Nicholas Haynes with 19 points, Kyle Koszuta had 14 and Chris Forbes 13.
The Dolphins, 10-10, play at Bay 1:15 p.m. today.
Mosley’s JV lost 63-60 in overtime to fall to 11-4. Cody Harris had 17 points and Donovan Albert 11 for the Dolphins.
Girls basketball
Arnold 76, Chipley 75
PANAMA CITY BEACH — JoJo Booker scored a career-high 41 points before fouling out with two minutes left in overtime. Arnold regained the lead with 40 seconds remaining on a Nina McClanahan basket and held off a Chipley rally to win. McClanahan added 17 points for the Marlins (11-13), who host Holmes County on Thursday.
Rutherford 44, Port St. Joe 30
PORT ST. JOE — Emily Cook scored 15 points and pulled down 14 rebounds to lead Rutherford. Lakia Snowden added 11 points for the Rams (8-9). Maya Robbins scored 12 points to pace Port St. Joe.
Rutherford hosts Mosley on Friday in its regular-season finale.
Ponce de Leon 56, Walton 37
DEFUNIAK SPRINGS — Jaz Flock scored 20 points and had nine rebounds to pace Ponce de Leon. Kate Carroll scored 12 points and Ashley Harper 11 for the Pirates (21-2), who host Baker on Thursday.
