Lifting: Arnold rules Region 1-1A meet

Arnold won seven of the 10 weight classes in the Region 1-1A weightlifting meet on Monday.

Rutherford’s Dieton West claimed the 154-pound class with a bench press of 235 pounds and a clean and jerk of 235 for 470. John McGovern of Pensacola Catholic won the 183-pound class and Marianna’s Javoris Garrett was the heavyweight winner.
