TALLAHASSEE — Mosley’s boys soccer season came to an abrupt end in a 5-1 loss to Lake City Columbia in the District 2-4A play-in match on Monday.
Columbia scored in the second minute of the match and the tally remained 1-0 at halftime. Columbia scored early again and surged to the victory.
Mark Grant scored Mosley’s lone goal in the second half. Nathan Gutcher had four saves and Josh Hoey two saves in goal for the Dolphins, who finished 10-8-1.

Rutherford 57, Blountstown 26
BLOUNTSTOWN — Emily Cook led all scorers with 22 points for the Rams, while adding eight rebounds. Lakia Snowden added 18 points and 11 rebounds and Alisha Williams and Dasia Faulk grabbed eight rebounds each for Rutherford (7-9), which is at Port St. Joe tonight.

Mosley 40, North Bay Haven 33
PANAMA CITY — Segovia Goodin had 15 points and eight rebounds to lead Mosley to the win. Jalyssa Ellis scored eight points, Minnya Ross seven and Katie Byrd six for the Dolphins. Maddy Adams scored 13 points, Hannah Farris seven and Cara Culpepper six to lead North Bay Haven (11-3), which completed its season.
Mosley (8-9) is at Bay on Thursday.

HAVANA — Kent Rogers scored 21 points and Will Rogers and Jacob Warner 15 each for Altha (10-9), which is at Cottondale today.

PANAMA CITY — Ashton Hicks Scores his 26th and 27th goals of the season leading Bay. Hicks scored in the 15th minute, assisted by Dennis Pontious. He second goal, Hicks’ 95th of his career, was scored in the 70th minute off a driven cross by Jarod Wilkins. Gunner Thrasher had three saves.
The Tornadoes improved to 15-6-2 and tied Mosley for the county championship. Bay’s next game will be 7 p.m. Wednesday in the second round of District 1-2A tournament.
