PANAMA CITY BEACH — Sarah Robertson’s 19 service points, nine digs, five kills and two blocks paced Arnold to a 23-25, 25-11, 26-24, 25-7 win in a high school volleyball match over Bay on Tuesday. The Marlins improved to 8-5 overall and 4-1 in District 1-5A.

Alex Dyer had 27 assists and 12 points, Madi Wichterman nine kills, four blocks, four points and an ace, Sam Brooks nine points, six digs, three kills and three blocks, JoJo Booker 10 kills, three points and two digs, Emma Moskowitz nine points, seven kills and four aces and Kailyn Helm 11 digs for the Marlins, who are at Rutherford on Thursday.

Bay won the JV match 25-22, 21-25, 15-11.

SNEADS — Arnold fell to 7-5 overall with a nondistrict loss 25-17, 15-25, 17-25, 25-23, 15-13. Leading the Marlins were Madi Wichterman with nine kills, three digs, two blocks and 11 points; Sam Brooks with seven kills, nine digs and four points; JoJo Booker with five kills, five digs, three blocks, one ace and 13 points; Emma Moskowitz with 11 kills, one dig, one block, three aces and five points, Sarah Robertson with three kills, seven digs, two aces and seven points, Kailyn Helm with 11 digs and Alex Dyer with 32 assists, four digs and nine points.

Arnold JV team lost 25-8, 25-15.

Mosley triumphs

PENSACOLA — Mosley shot a 12-over-par 300 and won the 17-team Fellowship of Christian Athletes Invitational Golf Tournament at the A.C. Read Golf Course. The Dolphins built a comfortable lead early and held on for a one-shot win over Pensacola Catholic.

Mosley's Taylor Murphy was medalist with a 4-under 68 to edge Catholic's Joey Stills by a shot. Dillon Humphrey added a 75, Dalton Humphrey shot 76, Reed Maddox 81 and Jeremy Senterfitt 84 for Mosley, whose season record is 53-6.

Arnold, led by Kip Karani's 75, shot 329 and tied for ninth.

“This was a great win for our team,” Mosley coach Mike Riley said. “Taylor played a fantastic round of golf, and the other guys were solid as well. Hopefully this will give us a boost of confidence and some momentum as we get closer to the state playoffs.”
