Freedom East rosters announced

The 2008 Freedom All-Star Classic East team rosters have been chosen.

Twelve boys and girls players from schools in The News Herald\'s coverage area will compete in the fourth annual event April 5 at the Billy Harrison Field House on the campus of Gulf Coast Community College. The East teams play the West, which fields players from the Northwest Florida Daily News (in Fort Walton Beach) coverage area beginning in Walton County.

All but five of the East players competed in the regional tournament. Two players played in the state Final Four and four others advanced as far as the regional championship game.
