PONCE DE LEON — Ashley Harper had 17 points as Ponce de Leon defeated Walton 48-44 on Thursday in girls high school basketball. Jasmine Flock added 13 for the Pirates, 2-0. Flock had eight rebounds and Jordan Thomas 12 for PDL.

Gillian Enfinger had 16 points for Walton, including five 3-pointers.

PDL plays at South Walton tonight.

Holmes County 62, Freeport 32

BONIFAY — Mikayla Moore had six points, nine rebounds, five assists and three streals for the Blue Devils. Zoie Hodge had 12 points, two rebounds, one assist and three steals; Sierra Davis 10 points, four rebounds, two assists and seven steals, Selina Long 10 points, eight rebounds one assist and one steal and Jessica Belser eight points, four rebounds, two assists and three steals.

Holmes County, 1-1, hosts Cottondale 1:30 p.m. today.

Holmes County won the JV game 47-10 and is 2-0.

Mosley 59, Port St. Joe 40

LYNN HAVEN — Deanna Canfield scored 20 points and pulled down 15 rebounds to lead Mosley to an in-school victory. Tasha Trzaska had nine points, Alexis Ware 12 points and five rebounds, Hazel White eight points and Hennessey Smith eight points and 10 rebounds for the Dolphins (2-0), who start play in the Choctawhatchee Thanksgiving Tournament on Monday.

Katie Lacour scored 12 points and Lisa Parker and Maya Robbins nine points for Port St. Joe.

North Bay Haven 44,

Franklin County 38

EASTPOINT — Maddy Adams had 16 points, Erin Penning 10 points and five rebounds, Monae Gaddis eight points and six rebounds and Hannah Farris six points, five rebounds, 10 assists and six steals for the Buccaneers, 3-0.

North Bay Haven plays at Rocky Bayou on Tuesday.

Niceville 44, Rutherford 43

NICEVILLE — Emily cook had 13 points and six rebounds in a losing effort for Rutherford. Aubrey West led Niceville with 15 points.

The Rams, 1-2, host Marianna on Nov. 29.

Niceville won the JV game 33-19.

SPRINGFIELD — Mosley won a dual between the schools to open the season. Rutherford wrestles at Arnold on Dec. 3.

PORT ST. JOE — Marcel Duarte had two goals to lead Port St. Joe, 2-0. Drew Lacour, Lagrand McLemore, Cole Cryderman and Daniel May also scored for the Tiger Sharks. McLemore, Whit Shoaf, Javarri Beachum and Jacob Lacour had assists. Beachum and Walt Bower shared the shutout, Bower with one save.

Port St. Joe hosts Marianna on Nov. 29.
