PANAMA CITY — Jared Wilkins posted four goals, and Ashton Hicks provided a goal and three assists for the Tornadoes in a convincing victory over Pensacola Catholic in a District 1-2A matchup. Corey Joseph added a goal and an assist for Bay, which improved to 9-5-2 overall and 7-0 in the district and also handed Pensacola Catholic its second loss in 10 district games. Gunner Thrasher stopped five shots for Bay, which plays at Walton today at noon.

TALLAHASSEE — Thomas McDaniel scored late in the second half for the Marlins’ lone goal in the loss to the Tallahassee school. Austin Masker had the assist on McDaniel’s goal, and goalkeeper Josh Murphy made five saves. Arnold plays at Tallahassee Lincoln today at noon.

Mosley 3, Navarre 0
NAVARRE — Mosley’s defense helped goalkeeper Emily Grammer collected her 48th shutout, and the Dolphins outshot Navarre 22-2 in the three-goal win. Emily Vogler, Stevie-Marie Mullins and Elizabeth Vickers each scored a goal for Mosley (12-4). Rachel Bates, Kaitlyn Blais and Ginny Bennett tabbed one assist apiece. Mosley plays Arnold at Bozeman on Tuesday at 5 p.m. Navarre won the JV game 4-2 and handed Mosley (7-1-1) its first loss. The Dolphins JV plays South Walton on Monday at Tommy Oliver Stadium at 5 p.m.

PANAMA CITY BEACH — Joanne Booker tallied 12 points, and Grace Tennyson had eight points and eight rebounds for Arnold in a District 1-5A win. The Marlins, unbeaten in district play at 6-0 with two league games left, now are assured of at least a tie for the No. 1 seed at the district tournament. Arnold (8-10 overall) travels to Bay on Tuesday.

PONCE DE LEON — Ashley Harper tossed in 17 points and collected seven steals to pace the Pirates’ District 3-1A victory. Jasmine Flock amassed eight points and nine rebounds, and August Brown had nine points for PDL (14-2 overall, 7-0 district). The Pirates host Cottondale on Monday. The JV game tips off at 4:30 p.m., and the varsity game follows at 5:45 p.m.

SAND HILLS — Natasha Beach fired in 18 points, and Katie Whitfield and Tabitha Plummer hauled down 11 and 10 rebounds, respectively, for Bozeman (0-12). The Bucks host Liberty County on Jan. 12 at 5:30 p.m.

PANAMA CITY — Bay’s Corey Brown scored 10 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the Tornadoes’ defeat in a District 1-5A game. Alton Mills and Demetrius Rivers also scored 10 points each for Bay, which fell to 4-11 overall and 1-3 in the district. The Tornadoes visit Rutherford on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. (JV) and 7:30 p.m. (varsity).
Bozeman 69, Blountstown 51
SAND HILLS — Herbie Howell led all scorers with 19 points for Bozeman, which outscored Blountstown 19-7 in the third quarter after the teams were tied 32-32 at halftime. Christian Flowers, who scored 15 points, joined Howell with eight points in the third quarter for Bozeman. Cameron Waddell added 14 points, and Ben Adams nine for the Bucks (7-8, 4-4 district). Bozeman plays at Arnold today at 7 p.m.
Chipley 73, Jay 36
CHIPLEY — Cody Daniels and Alex Hamilton scored 12 points apiece to lead four Tigers in double figures in the victory. Cameron Dozier and Logan Thomas scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, for Chipley (9-3). The Tigers host Baker tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. (JV) and 5 p.m. (varsity).

ALTHA — Altha senior Will Rogers buried five 3-pointers en route to 18 points, and P.J. Iler added 14 points for the Wildcats (6-7). Jacob Warner had nine points for Altha, which plays at Graceville on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. (JV) and 6 p.m. (varsity). Altha’s JV won 29-18 to improve to 8-5.
