Panhandle Open track meet set for Saturday

The Panhandle Open Track and Field Championship will take place Saturday at Tommy Oliver Stadium.

The event will start at 10:15 a.m. with a one-mile run that is open to the public. Those interested in running the one-mile or 600-meter run can register at Tommy Oliver Stadium between 8 and 9 a.m. Saturday.

The following teams will be participating in the Panhandle Open Track & Field Championship meet: Arnold, Bay, Choctawhatchee, Cottondale, Crestview, Crossroad Academy Charter School, FAMU, Florida High, Fort Walton Beach, Freeport, Godby, Graceville, Jefferson County, Maclay, Marianna, Mosley, Niceville, Rickards and Rutherford.
