Softball: Niceville edges Mosley; Arnold wins big
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Niceville 8, Mosley 7: NICEVILLE — Niceville rallied with four runs in the seventh inning to down Mosley in a District 2-5A game.
Candice Hill led Mosley (8-7, 2-2) with two hits and two RBIs, Melissa David had a two-run triple and Kat Vogler had a two-run double.
The losing pitcher was Meagan Creel.
Mosley won the junior varsity game 8-3. Emily Locher was the winning pitcher. Brooke Wilke and Jesse Bosch each had two singles for Mosley, 4-2.
Mosley hosts Rutherford on Thursday.
Arnold 13, Pensacola Catholic 6
PENSACOLA — The Marlins improved to 8-3, and 4-2 in District 1-3A as Delaney Dempsey picked up the win on the mound.
She had solid offensive support with Katie Godfrey going 3 for 5 with two doubles and two RBIs, JoJo Booker 3 for 5 with an RBI, Maddie Kolovich 2 for 5 with an RBI and MaryAnn Kline slugging a solo homer.
Arnold is at Bay 6 p.m. Thursday.
