Prep roundup (Oct. 23): Mosley wins 25th straight county volleyball match

LYNN HAVEN - Mosley won its 25th consecutive volleyball match against a county opponent with a 25-10, 25-21, 25-23 victory over visiting Arnold on Thursday.

The victory lifted the Dolphins to their ninth straight county championship. Overall, Mosley finished the regular season with a 19-5 record.

Ann Delaney led Mosley against Arnold with five kills and 22 assists. Kelsey Bell had eight kills and nine digs; Deanna Canfield had nine kills, 10 digs and three aces; and Lindsey Richardson added 11 service points.

The Dolphins play at Rutherford on Monday in the first game of the District 3-4A tournament.

Mosley's junior varsity team beat Arnold 25-14, 25-14 in its final match of the season. The Dolphins finished 11-8 overall and 6-1 against county opponents.

Amanda Singletary had 13 digs and four aces for the Mosley JV team. Tasha Trazka added 13 assists.

Swimming
PANAMA CITY BEACH
Thursday's Bay County Swim and Dive Championships were postponed until Saturday because of inclement weather.

The meet will start at 10 a.m. at the Frank Brown Park Aquatic Center. Diving is expected to start at noon.
