Prep roundup (Sept. 23): Mosley earns first volleyball win in Tallahassee in 10 years
Comments 0 | Recommend 0TALLAHASSEE - A fourth-set comeback sparked the Mosley Dolphins to a 26-28, 25-20, 17-25, 26-24, 15-6 win against Chiles in a District 2-5A volleyball match on Tuesday.
It was Mosley's first win against a Tallahassee team on the road in more than 10 years, according to coach Steve Canfield.
Junior setter Ann Delaney led Mosley with 30 digs and 25 assists. Deanna Canfield had 23 digs, 15 kills and four blocks. Morgan McCabe had a career-high seven blocks. Megan Williams had a team-high five aces to go along with her 10 kills and four blocks.
The Lady Dolphins were down 23-21 in the fourth set. They came back to win it and the fifth and final set.
Mosley (13-2, 2-2) hosts Bay at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. The Dolphins JV lost 25-16, 25-17.

Mosley boys claim victory

Mosley shot a 125 to win a six team 9-hole match at Nature Walk. Bay was second with a 141, Arnold was third at 147, Port St. Joe was fourth with a 155, Rutherford was fifth at 157 and Wewahitchka was sixith with a 171.
Mosley's Tyler Vincent and Port St. Joe's Grant Rish shot 1-over-par 30's to share medalist honors.
