Prep roundup (Nov. 11): PSJ soccer teams win

PORT ST. JOE - Jared Arnold scored two goals to lead the Port St. Joe (1-0) boys soccer to a 4-0 win over Marianna on Tuesday.

J. Mason Ray and Jacob Thompson each added one goal for the Tiger Sharks.

Keeper Chase Watford earned the shutout.

Courtney Hermsdorfer and Rachel Jones each had a goal to give the Tiger Sharks (1-2) their first win of the season.

Keeper Angela Cannington had the shutout.

Wakulla wins shootout

CRAWFORDVILLE
Wakulla defeated Tallahassee Rickards 7-0 in overtime of the final quarter of a three-team shootout to determine the runner-up in District 2-3A. Rickards advanced to the final quarter with a 7-0 victory over East Gadsden.

Wakulla (5-4) will play Arnold (9-0) at the Mike Gavlak Sports Complex in the Region 1-3A quarterfinals Nov. 21. These teams met in last year's first round, with the Marlins winning 13-8.
