Hove, Mosley boys head regional swimming finishers

JACKSONVILLE — Mosley’s boys won the Region 1-2A swimming championship and Dolphins’ standout Victoria Hove set three school and Bay County records on Thursday.
Hove won the 200-yard individual medley in a record time of 2:04.94. She was second in the 100 breaststroke with a record preliminary time of 1:06.10 and she also set a mark in the 100 freestyle with a 53.40. Mosley’s boys scored 318 to blow by Ponte Vedra for the championship.
Swimmers from Arnold and Rutherford also competed in the meet. They will wait until times are in from all regional meets to determine state qualifiers.
