Mosley leads county regional swimming qualifiers

Mosley breezed to the District 1-2A title in the boys division and placed second to champion Niceville in the girls in the meet held Friday in Pensacola.

Arnold was eighth in girls and 13th in boys and Rutherford 13th in girls and 12th in boys.

Michael Duderstadt won two individual titles among six district championships for the Dolphins and Jonathan Ratliff had very strong showings to be seeded very high for the region, which will be held Thursday in St. Augustine.

Region 1-1A

JD Clutch placed first in two individual events, Phoenix Rine and Dylan Mock claimed district titles and the 400 freestyle relay posted a victory as Bay placed second in the boys division on Friday in the District 1-1A meet at the Frank Brown Park Aquatics Center.

Bay’s girls were sixth, Tallahassee schools Maclay (girls) and Rickards (boys)claiming respective team titles.

More importantly for the Tornadoes, they advanced a total of 15 athletes to the Region 1-1A meet which will be held Thursday at Jacksonville Bolles. Bay will be represented in 11 boys events and six girls events.
