Players of the Week (10/12)

Players of the Week, as nominated by their schools, for the week ending Oct. 9:

Meredith Schoppe, fr., Arnold girls swimming: Dropped her time in both the 200 IM and 500 freestyle at a recent meet.

Victor Kline, Arnold boys swimming: Reduced his time in both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle.

Lauren Corbin, jr., Mosley volleyball: Had 39 digs and 40 serve receives.

Alysiah Stock, jr., Mosley girls swimming: At the Panama City Beach Invitational, won the girls 100 breaststroke while swimming a personal-best time of 1:08:89 in the prelims, placed ninth in 100 butterfly and contributed great splits for the 200 medley relay (fourth place) and the 400 freestyle relay (third place).

Michael Whitehead, jr., Mosley boys swimming: Won the boys 500 freestyle by more than 7 seconds over the second-place finisher. Also placed second in the 200 freestyle with a season-best time of 1:49.08 and contributed solid splits to the winning 200 medley relay and the winning 400 freestyle relay.

Sarah Robertson, fr., Arnold volleyball: Had 39 service points, 4 service aces, 23 kills, 49 digs and 37 perfect passes as Arnold went 4-2 for the week.

Dalton Humphrey, sr., Mosley boys golf: Shot a 3-over-par 75 to earn medalist in the county match while leading the Dolphins to the team title.

Eddie Williams, sr., Arnold football (defense): Had six tackles and an interception in a win against Rutherford.

Andre Allen, sr., Arnold football (offense): Rushed 29 times for 298 yards, caught one pass for 49 yards and scored five touchdowns.

Alyssa Delapaine, sr., Bozeman volleyball: Had six blocks, seven kills and three aces.

David Craig, sr., Mosley football (offense): Rushed 13 times for 124 yards.

Mark Hicks, sr., Mosley football (defense): Had 13 tackles and two passes defended.
