Arnold, Mosley advance to volleyball finals
CRESTVIEW — Amanda Singletary had 14 service points and 11 digs, as Mosley beat Choctawhatchee 25-12, 25-12, 25-16 in the District 2-6A volleyball tournament semifinals on Tuesday.
The Dolphins (23-3) advanced to Thursday’s 6 p.m. championship match against Niceville, which beat Crestview on Tuesday. Mosley advanced to the regional tournament with the victory for the third straight season. It still seeks a first district title.
Deanna Canfield had 15 points, 12 kills and eight aces, Cayce May five digs and five kills and Lindsey Richardson 14 assists for Mosley.

Arnold 3, Bay 2
GULF BREEZE — Madi Wichterman had 14 service points, nine blocks, nine kills, four blocks and four digs to guide Arnold to a hard-fought 25-12, 23-25, 24-26, 25-16, 15-5 win over Bay.
Sam Brooks had eight digs, four kills, five blocks and four points, JoJo Booker 15 points, nine kills, six digs and six blocks, Emma Moskowitz eight kills, five points, two aces and two blocks, Sarah Robertson 14 points, five aces, five digs, three kills and three blocks and Alex Dyer 18 assists, 20 points, five digs and three aces for Arnold (17-8).
Arnold plays the winner of Gulf Breeze-Rutherford in Thursday’s 6 p.m. title matchup. The Marlins moved on to the regional tournament for the fifth time and first since 2009.
Sierra Burris had 11 kills, five aces and three blocks, Errin Pennington five aces, Brittany Dilley nine kills, Sahara Peters two blocks, Marley peters 21 assists and Jamie Bell and Sammie Williams seven digs each for the Tornadoes. Bay finished its season 10-11.
