Arnold leads area qualifiers with 12 berths at state lifting meet

The Florida High School Athletic Association released the list of state boys weightlifting qualifiers with Arnold leading area teams with 12 berths in Class 1A.
The list is led by District 1-1A champions Joel Ensminger (119-pound weight class), Darius Smedley (129), Danny Anderson (199) and Seung Jin Lee (219). Arnold has lifters in six weight classes.
Blountstown was next among area qualifiers with six. Altha had four, Wewahitchka two and Rutherford, Bay, Port St. Joe and Chipley one each. Mosley qualified two for the Class 2A meet. The Class 2A meet is April 15 and the 1A event takes place April 16 with both at the Kissimmee Civic Center.
