GULF BREEZE — The host Dolphins cruised to the District 1-2A sweep. Arnold’s boys fell to 1-3 overall and 1-2 in the district. The Marlin girls lost for the first time this season and slipped to 3-1 and 2-1. Arnold plays at Pensacola High next Tuesday at 2 p.m.

TALLAHASSEE — Rutherford’s Tyler Bailey stroked a one-out single in the 11th inning to score Brady Colburn and Nick Nelson in a District 2-4A win over host Godby.

Colburn reached on a walk, and Nelson singled ahead of Bailey.

Ram pitchers J. Michael Davis, Dakota Spikes and Cody Roby held Godby to just two runs in 10 innings after a five-run outburst in the first inning. Roby pitched the final two innings with no hits, no walks and two strikeouts.

Spikes was 3 for 5, Nelson was was 2 for 6 and Jesse Pace had a two-run double.

Rutherford (2-1, 1-0) hosts Mosley on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
