Players of the Week, as nominated by their schools, for the week ending Jan. 8:
Hannah Farris, fr., North Bay Haven girls basketball: Had 16 points, 11 assists and 10 steals in two games.
Herbie Harrell, Bozeman boys basketball: Averaged 18 points, 5 assists and 4.5 rebounds.
Lenai Williams, sr., Rutherford girls weightlifting: Placed first in the sub-sectional meet with a 150 bench, 150 clean and jerk and 300 total.
Tasha Trzaska, sr., Mosley girls basketball: Had 10 assists and eight steals.
Colby Baker, jr., Arnold wrestling: Improved to 20-2 overall with three pins in three minutes to win the 132-pound title at the Andrews Institute tournament.
