Mosley teams swim past Arnold and FWB

PANAMA CITY BEACH - Mosley's girls and boys swim teams defeated Arnold and Fort Walton Beach in a trimatch at the Frank Brown pool.

The Mosley girls totaled 752.50 points to edge Arnold with 749. FWB was third at 709.50. The Dolphins' boys team won with 1,009.5 points. FWB was second with 868 and Arnold third at 366.5.

The Mosley girls won all three relays while the Dolphins boys were second in all 3, missing the win in the 200 free relay by 0.2 seconds on a great anchor swim by Michael Perdomo.

Sara Evans and Mary McDermott, both from Mosley, won both their individual events and participated in the winning relays.

The Mosley divers took the top four places.

Arnold's Katie Branham broke the 100 freestyle school record twice, and improved the record by almost a second.

The Arnold girls 400 free relay of Katie Branham, Nicole Gazia, Erin Branham, and Anna Jacob set a new school record of 4 minutes and 4.17 seconds.

Cody Bronnenberg (Arnold) won both the 200 I.M. and the 100 back while Marlins freshman Nicole Gazia broke 26 seconds in the 50 freee.

Arnold's Julia Stephenson set the girls 1-meter diving school record at 143.20.
