Arnold, Bay compete in Panhandle meet
Arnold’s boys finished eighth and girls 14th on Saturday in the Panhandle Cross Country Championship in Marianna. Bay also competed, but its final team results were not reported.
Chance Mason led the way for Arnold’s boys in 17 minutes, 23.69 seconds. Mikayla Hodges paced the girls with a personal-best 20:24.91, which also was an Arnold record. Twelve Marlins’ runners in varsity and JV set personal bests.
Spence Farner was Bay’s top boy finisher in 19:14. Devon Cozart led the Bay girls with a 24:48.
