Chapman added to Braves' 40-man roster

Former Mosley High School standout Jaye Chapman was added to the Atlanta Braves’ 40-man roster on Wednesday. Chapman, 24, had his best minor-league season this summer, combining for a 2.50 ERA and 77 strikeouts in 68 1/3 innings pitched for Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Gwinnett. The left-hander limited opponents to a .164 batting average.
